The Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Company will give a site-specific performance in Brookhaven, Long Island. For our second adventure in Bellport, this one-night engagement will feature the company joined by live music in and around the 20-acre garden that provides the community with over 300 varieties of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and fruits.
30 years after its premiere, the groundbreaking dance theater work Still/Here by Bill T. Jones returns to the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House. Still/Here broke boundaries between the personal and the political and exemplified a form of dance theater that is uniquely American.
In tandem with the full-length performance in the theater, visit the lobby installation for the month leading up to the premiere. MX Oops’ lobby installation will feature custom neon signs, as well as films, portraits and augmented reality video shot during the creation period for the main event.
Technique with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company uses the vocabulary and stylistic sensibilities developed by Bill T. Jones and Janet Wong to prepare dancers for the work of the Company.
As the window to reverse climate change narrows, every action (and non-action) matters. Climate policies on the national and international front are crucial, but so are our individual choices. The Green Initiative was formed in Fall 2022 to examine, evaluate, and change every aspect of our organization in our aspiration towards a more sustainable future.
